People, Animal & Private Commissions
Portrait commissions
“A handmade portrait speaks in a way that photographic portraits do not. Handcrafted portraits are a celebration of life, marking a moment in time for both the sitter and the patron. They are a joy to produce, and to capture the expression, spirit and character of the individual.”
“A portrait is an act of witness. It says: this person existed, this was their expression, this was the light in their eyes at this particular moment in time. I make portraits of people and animals that matter – children, parents, beloved dogs, characters worth recording. Each one starts with a conversation about who they are, not just what they look like.”
