Pen & Ink

Ink is where observation becomes obsession. These works grow from a single line into dense, intricate worlds – patterned flowers, coral formations, travel vignettes from two decades of sketchbooks.

When I arrive in a new place and soak up the essence of it, I want to capture everything – the atmosphere, the light, the detail of that exact place. For me, drawing is more evocative than the written word. What I choose to include, consciously or not, reveals what the place actually did to me.

The new series is an ongoing body of work. This page grows as new pieces are completed.
