I was very sad to miss Chelsea Flower show this year – I had to resign myself to watching it on the television! Normally it really inspires me to paint and draw at home and my phone is filled with pictures of the shapes colours and textures I see.
One thing I noticed this year – even if only on television – was the abundance of greenery in the gardens – the garden designers had relied solely on the different foliage of plants and trees which served to create textured canopies of different hues of green which was not only very calming to the eye but quite unusual and refreshing.
It recoded much inspiration to me as I often marvel a the different shapes of leaves against each other.
